Prada Menswear Spring 2012 Collection

Being that spring is here, I wanted to share a few men spring looks that I like from Prada.  This collection is polished, printed, so Prada.  The hats, scarfs, bags, and most of all the shoes, need to be added to my wardrobe! I love how Prada depicted their looks on guys from a different ethnicities; I must say that Prada looks good on all!  Check out the looks below and find inspiration as you dress for this spring and summer.

V Magazine

I have been thinking lately that I want to subscribe to another fashion publication, and V Magazine came to mind.  I have bought a few issues in the past, and needless to say, their prospective on the art of fashion is sickening! The V76 Spring 2012 The Sport Issue has the gorgeous J Lo on the cover in an heroic pose.  From V magazine's website, they "wanted to pay homage to these incredible icons past and present with our own Fashion Olympics. The talents who grace these pages face challenges, obstacles, victory, and defeat in an open forum almost every day."  I am excited to subscribe to this magazine to read how others overcame obstacles.  To subscribe to this magazine, visit www.vmagazine.com.  

And for the men that want to subscribe to a men's fashion magazine their is a VMAN Magazine as well.  On the VMAN 25 Spring 2012 The Spring Fashion Issue, they have the handsome Tahar Rahim on the cover in a tailored and polished look.  I think I will subscribe to this one as well! Day at the Park

If you are an ATLien, visiting Piedmont Park is something that you do, especially on a nice sunny day.  There is a playground for kids to enjoy, grills for people to use to make memorable meals with loved ones, and there is open space for recreational purposes.  I enjoy going to the park because I can find inspiration at any moment while I'm the cruising through.  The skyline of Downtown Atlanta is breathtaking from the park, for those who admire architecture and structures.  

But on the day that Sheefy Greendown and I decided to strut through the park, we gave Piedmont Park a taste of fashion.  We served vintage looks that can easily be worn in contemporary times.  I wore a black dropped waist floral laced vintage dress that was a thrift store find.  Underneath I wore a pair of blue skinny jeans cuffed with a pair of black loafers.  Sheefy Greendown was dressed in a black and white houndstooth pant with a red printed blouse that fitted him oh so well, with a pair of brown vintage boots.

Etro F/W 2012 RTW

I have been a fan of Etro's paisley prints for some years now.  This collection gives us nice tailored pants, fitted dresses, different textures, and has a variety of looks for the everyday woman.  These looks can easily go from day to night because they are so fashion forward.  I love the cropped fur overlays for the suits and the details in the sheerness of the dresses.  Here are a couple of the looks that I liked from the collection.

Here's a look I put together randomly.  I like the hippy look that I'm giving! Androgynous Much!

These pics are old, but yet they still give me life! I love the androgyny in the looks! The wedding dress came from a thrift store for $25, a good find! The fur vest came from The Limited.  The hat and other pieces also came from a thrift store.  I styled the looks and the pics were taking by Jasmine Mills.  Hope you all enjoy!

Rachel Zoe Fall 2012 Ready-to-Wear Collection

For those that know me, they know that I live for Rachel Zoe.  She is a celebrity stylist turned designer and she is killing the game! Her keen eye for fashion trends is impeccable.  Her Fall 2012 RTW Collection is chic, sophisticated, and fashion forward.  The collection has a lot of pieces that can be worn as separates and matched with other trendy pieces.  I love Rachel Zoe!!!!!
