On Monday June 11, 2012, I will be departing from Atlanta, GA to began a new journey in San Francisco, CA. I will be taking graduate classes at the accredited Academy of Art University(AAU), where I will be pursuing a Master of Fine Arts degree in Fashion Merchandising and Marketing. Words can not even express how I am feeling. A combination of emotions seem to overtake every fiber of my being as I begin to prepare for this move. I have been studying maps of San Francisco, getting familiar with the public transportation system, and finding breathtaking landmarks that I can not wait to see. But most of all, I am ready to learn. AAU fashion program is amazing and is taught by some awesome fashion professionals. Graduate design students can even get a chance to show their collection during Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in New York City, which would be surreal to me. Being around other creative people will only add fuel the passion inside of me. Get ready to see what I have to share with the world.
