Blank Canvas

A model is like a blank canvas, perfectly measured and proportioned allowing artists to bring their visionary artifacts to life.  The model is nude; absent from colors, textures, and layers.  A model is a perfect tools needed to bring garments to life.  It starts with a sketch, the strokes of the pencil gracing the page forming what’s to become lavishly adorned upon a model.  Once the garment has been tailored to perfection, the vision is almost complete.  I love the fact that models can be styled differently expressing unique point-of-views, attitudes, moods, and sophistication.  Stylists can use the same pieces and still merchandise a look that is polar opposite from one another.  Photo shoots and the runway presentation are important for a fashion label, and having the right model to depict the concept behind the line so that the clothing can be perfectly marketed to the consumer.  Models walk the runway presenting art in the form of fashion to the world.   Hair and makeup snatched in haute couture looks, posing in couture poses for fashion editorials: which is a way that trends for the season and must have pieces are delivered to the public.  Models that have come and gone, we thank you for being a blank canvas for us to keep fashion alive!
